Yaw Dampers

Yaw Damper is a passive hydraulic solution where no electronic connection is required. Normal design intend of Yaw Damper is to reduce the rotational movement of the bogies at higher velocities. This requires a high damping response / high damping. However, if a train is passing a switch or a sharp corner this high damping force is acting against the rotation of the bogie.
