Vehicle Dynamics and Control

The basic bogie/body structure requires independent damping of bogie and body vibrations. To control these two vibration systems, we provides all required dampers with the desired characteristic curves – including stroke dependant and special systems. The primary dampers (axle dampers) are subjected to the highest velocities and stress. These are Mounted between the bogie frame and the axle. Vibrations in the vehicle body are reduced by dampers mounted between the bogie and the body (secondary vertical or horizontal damper).
